Some solid inshore days with nice mixed bag catches of speckled trout, red drum, black drum and sheepshead. Followed by a few days of commercial bluefin tuna fishing… also with mixed bag catches of giant bluefin tuna, Black fin tuna and some very large sharks.
Inshore the redfish, sheepshead, speckled trout and flounder fishing has been good. September 1-14 is our two window to keep flounder this year recreationally. Nearshore the casting action for Spanish mackerel, false albacore and blue fish has been exceptional and should stay really good into early fall.
