Inshore the redfish are still biting fairly steady but, the daytime bull reds have been elusive the past few days. We have been seeing good numbers of flounder and a few speckled trout on most days. Keep in mind that the flounder keep season this year is very short running from September 1-14th, limit is 4 per person at 15” … I have a few days open as of now 8th-11th.
Nearshore the casting bite for Spanish mackerel, bluefish, albies and other species has been good, it should improve in September if the tropics stay somewhat calm.
